Sports and Fitness

Remain active at college.

You can find everything you need to stay in shape, improve your fitness and carry on playing the sports you love at our Sport and Fitness Centre. This facility is run by our Sport and Public Services Department, and is supervised by qualified Fitness Instructors or Personal Trainers.

Here’s what you can expect:

The gym is open to the public Monday – Thursday 5.15pm–8.45pm, Friday 5.15pm–8.15pm and Saturday 9.00am–12.00pm. Public sessions cost £3.00.

There is also the chance to maximise your public use by paying £15 per calendar month for unlimited use of the gym.

The Studio is mainly used for specific exercise classes like circuit training, for example. It also hosts staff sessions, such as the highly successful Mini Olympics for schools and a range of evening classes for the public. Please get in touch with the fitness centre for a current timetable.

During the day, our Sports Hall is used for practical indoor sports such as basketball, netball and five-a-side football, plus other activities such as uniformed services drills and employment fairs. It also hosts external bookings for archery, basketball and volleyball.

Our purpose-built climbing wall is used by Outdoor Adventure course students and is available to other students through our Enrichment programme.

We have a number of classes available to both students and the general public, these classes include:

Yoga
Monday 7.30-8.30pm

Pilates
Monday 6.15-7.15pm
Thursday 6-7pm

These are available for £4 per class

Our Football Academy is known as the Hawks and benefits from a partnership with Havant and Waterlooville FC. As a Football Academy member you will have the opportunity to enrol on a variety of courses within the sports department and benefit from first-class coaching.
