SUCCESS STORY: Former student praised for ‘outstanding’ first year at the University of Oxford

September 5, 2017

Former student Megan Griffiths has been praised after her triumphant first year at the University of Oxford.

Lecturer at University College Oxford, Dr Andrew Bell, has written to Havant & South Downs College to state the university’s ‘delight’ in Megan’s outstanding work.

The committed student left Havant & South Downs College last year after achieving high-flying A Level results in English Literature, German and Ancient History at the South Downs Campus.

Megan was offered a place at the prestigious University of Oxford to study English Language and Literature.

Dr Bell wrote: “It is always a great pleasure when an able and committed student achieves her maximum potential as Megan has clearly done.

“We look forward to seeing Megan continue to develop over the course of her degree, and we are confident in her ability to continue to produce work of commendable quality.

“I wanted to share Megan’s success with you and to thank you for the very good preparation she clearly received before coming to us.

“Needless to say, we hope you will send us more applicants of Megan’s calibre.”
