Senior Technician/Instructor – Mechanical Engineering
Salary: Actual Salary £14,644.80 per annum
Contract type: Grade 3 for 0.8 fractional contract
The College is seeking to appoint a fractional technician in our busy engineering curriculum area. Applicants should ideally be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in engineering and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in the mechanical/manufacturing industry.
Desirable skills required are manual turning and milling, fabrication skills, welding, CNC. Basic Maintenance skills are required to maintain the above equipment.
Applicants must demonstrate flexibility in hours and tasks undertaken and have knowledge of health, safety and quality systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Nursery practitioner to join our team at our outstanding nursery, Little Faces Nursery, situated on the South Downs Campus of Havant & South Downs College.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate that they have a good knowledge of the EYFS and a passion for childcare and development, being able to use their own initiative to ensure that the children’s individual needs are met. They must offer the best care and stimulation to ensure that each child reaches their full potential and they must regularly contribute to their key child’s online learning journey. The candidate should also be flexible in their working and be a good team player. They must have good communication and writing skills.
Applicants must hold a level 3 qualification in childcare, have GCSE (grade C or above) in Maths and English and it would be desirable to hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate (training can be given). They must also have good experience of working with ages 0-4.

As a qualified Lecturer in Geography, you will work as a member of a team, ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success. Applicants should possess an appropriate degree and have experience in teaching Geography to A level students. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. This is a great opportunity to pass on your skills and experience to others in a rewarding role.
The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography, excellence in teaching and learning and be a reflective practitioner who takes part in CPD. It is preferred that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students to ensure that they make sufficient progress.
