Digital learning

Harness the power of digital learning.

To help you prepare for a bright future we place considerable emphasis on digital learning.

After all, digital resources and methods pervade every single area of business and industry nowadays, which makes proficiency in all things digital an absolute must for your future. As a result, we’ve invested heavily to ensure you have access to all the latest hardware and software to help you learn.

We have a vision that every student will benefit through being a multi digital College, using a combination of Google, Microsoft and Apple platforms. You will also benefit from our overarching digital Hub, known as Moodle, and our universal wi-fi coverage.

But what does this mean in practice. Here are the facts:

Here our teaching staff produce state-of-the-art resources and online tools to enhance your learning experience.

Google Classroom is now embedded across the College’s curriculum, giving you access to industry-standard cloud-based applications that will empower your learning from day one.

These applications include Google Docs and Google Slides, which enable you to collaborate with your teachers and peers. But that’s not all…

Your Google Drive will automatically save your work in ‘The Cloud’, and Google Calendar organises all your assignments and provides reminders to help you stay on track.

All of these benefits from Google classroom will be true for Microsoft, so if students wish to use this platform, the College will actively support your learning experience through this platform.

We are happy for our students to bring their own device to College to use with their learning. Our digital networks are compatible with all devices and our IT Services will support you on your way.

If you are considering purchasing a new device ahead of starting with us in September, take a look at the choice of devices through our associated purchase scheme – which gives you great value for money.
