Air Cabin Crew Training (Fast Track)

Level 2 Diploma

Our Fast Track route is for those students who have achieved their Maths & English qualifications. The Fast Track course allows you to complete the course in six months (September- the end of March), so you can be ready to fly in the Summer season. If you would like to work as a member of air cabin crew or part of the airport ground crew team, this course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

As a learner you’ll undertake training at the British Airways Training Base at Heathrow Airport, completing a range of practical exercises including emergency evacuation procedures.

Daily lessons will take place aboard a replica of a Boeing 747 aircraft cabin. You’ll learn aviation operations, airline health, safety and security, emergency procedures, crew room duties and ground operations. In preparation for interviews with airlines, you’ll also participate in an airline mock interview day at one of our local partnership hotels.

Fast track is for you if you have already gained your Maths & English qualifications. If you are in the process of completing your English and Maths qualifications, you can still study Cabin Crew here at HSDC, on our full year programme.

After studying for two years at HSDC, I decided to stay on an extra six months doing fast track Cabin Crew to help me get my dream job. Through the course, we learnt everything we needed to know about the safety and emergency procedures taught in training by airlines. This included a trip to the British Airways training centre at London Heathrow, to give us an in-depth view of what it would be like during our training period. Because I had an in-depth knowledge of the industry and the job itself, it really helped me to thrive in my interviews and stand out, as I knew a lot about what was to come in the training process and the job role itself if I were to be successful. The lecturers are really supportive and help to get everyone to where they want to be, whether they decide to be cabin crew or not. I have now finished all my training, with a job secured at a leading travel operator, TUI.
