You will be working in our industry-standard salon, with our friendly and experienced beauty therapy lecturers. Your lecturer will demonstrate basic spa massage techniques and routines, covering back, neck and shoulder to relieve stress and tension. You will then have the opportunity to practice the techniques and routines on other learners in the group. Towards the end of the course, when your confidence and techniques are improving, you will have the opportunity to bring friends and family along to act as models for you to fine tune your new found skills.
The course is designed for interest only and home use. If you would like to study a longer, accredited course, you can discuss this with your lecturer at the end of the introductory course. If there are enough students who show interest in taking the next step to a formal qualification, we can look to arrange this.
No formal entry requirements needed.
Throughout the 10 week course at HSDC South Downs, you will cover the following:

Your lecturers are practising in industry and will bring the latest knowledge, skills and trends to the classroom.
