This Level 3 Diploma in Sport is a one year course and gives you the opportunity to participate in, and coach sport activities. Along with your studies, you will go out on work placement one day a week where you will gain experience of what is involved in working in the sport and fitness industry.
Three GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language or Mathematics. Successful completion of a NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport or BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport.
On this one year course at HSDC South Downs, you will study the following:
HSDC offers a variety of learning and teaching approaches, including lectures, practical activity, presentations and group discussions. You will have access to the Learning Hub (library) and other online and digital resources.
You will be assessed through a range of practical assessments and a portfolio of work.
Higher Education courses or working within the sport and leisure industry.
HSDC has links with all local Sport and leisure facilities, Horizon Leisure Centre, Mountbatten Centre Portsmouth, ROKO and many more where you will attend your one day a week work placement.
