Stay up to date with the latest practices in cyber security through this enhanced qualification, updated to reflect the evolving digital landscape.
The purpose of this qualification is to introduce learners to the key concepts of cybercrime and cyber security. Learners will explore common types of cyber threats and understand routine protective methods used to maintain security.

To enrol on this Adult Learning course you must be aged 18 years or over.
This includes essential principles such as vulnerability and penetration testing, as well as user access control – helping learners understand how organisations protect systems, data and users from cyber risks. Contact adultlearning@hsdc.ac.uk for more details.
Course duration: 12 weeks.
Once you have enrolled on the course, you will be allocated a tutor and assigned to your learning platform. An induction will follow and then you will be able to commence your course.
You will be assessed by submitting individual units of work and will receive feedback for each unit as you progress. There is no final exam.
On completion of this course, you will be ready for the workplace or have enhanced your existing work skills.
