This course has made us become more professional and confident in ourselves. We have also been mentored by coaches who already have a lot of experience in the coaching industry. When working with them we have been able to learn the teaching techniques that they use and we have also been able to start to develop our own way of teaching a class. The qualifications we have been taught have all been a challenge in different ways. The multi-sports qualification was very intense as we only had a small amount of time to complete it. The NCFE qualification was a bit more relaxed but we still knew that the work that was given to us still had to be completed to the high standard we set. During the NCFE we were very much in control of the practical sessions we delivered. Every Tuesday, five of us would deliver a session on a sport of a sport-specific skill to the rest of the class. At the start, we would all panic if we were chosen to deliver the session but about two months in we would all be very confident in ourselves go deliver a good session. The PESS qualification has been a different style of qualification as it is mainly about us and the schools we have been working in. Instead of the teachers telling us the answers we have had to ask the schools ourselves. This has made us become more independent in our work. Overall the course has been very good and has met my expectations. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in coaching.Liam Cowlin, CM Sports Coaching Level 2/3
