If you’re looking for a long-term career with plenty of opportunities, Engineering is a great choice. This ever-expanding sector currently employs 19% of the total UK workforce, with this figure expected to continue growing.
It is estimated that over 203,000 people with Engineering qualifications above a Level 3 will be needed by 2024. To support this growth in the sector we’ve developed a brand new HND in Engineering, giving you the opportunity to gain a Level 5 qualification at a lower cost than attending university.
This two year university level course has been developed for those who have already studied a Level 3 in Engineering, whether at HSDC, a different College or through an apprenticeship.
Created with employability at its core, this course will not only provide you with a nationally recognised qualification – you’ll also learn skills that will help you get ahead in the world of electro-mechanical engineering.
Over the two years you’ll learn a range of subjects which will develop you as an engineer. You’ll learn how to use industry standard software and equipment, analysis tools and carry out electronic and material testing. By the end of the course you’ll be ready to meet the demands of employers in this rapidly evolving sector.
