You don’t have to take our word for it, here’s what James Watts one of our former Student Ambassadors had to say about the scheme:
‘The programme gave me the opportunity to develop a range of important skills, such as communication skills and teamwork skills, and it was great to have the opportunity to give something back to this great College by helping out at Open Evenings, Application Evenings, Taster Days and the Induction Day. My best experience was helping students who had come to the New Student Festival from far and wide to settle in and make friends. Coming to a new place without knowing anyone else can be a terrifying experience so it was great to be able to make them feel at home. I would advise everyone who wants to make the most of their time at College to join the Ambassador scheme’
