We’ve worked closely with Treloar College (for 20 years) and students from both colleges study a wide range of courses alongside each other at our College.
Innovation and entrepreneurship skills are developed through our regular Unloc Enterprise Days and short courses. Working with Unloc, students can take a short course (12 weeks)
and participate in an Enterprise Day. The exciting programme designed to motivate and inspire young people into business (private and public sector), is a blend of masterclasses, talks and hands-on exercises where student groups create then pitch their business ideas in a Dragons-Den style activity. Unloc also offers post-course support to develop business ideas.
We are partnering with National Citizen Service to enrich our Public Services, Business, Sport and Health & Social Care courses with residentials in Devon and Hampshire with activities such as paddle boarding, orienteering, rifle range, rock climbing and abseiling and a Social Action Project.
We are really pleased to be working with Unifrog. This one-stop online portal contains everything a student needs to know about applying to university or an apprenticeship, and allows students to make comparisons on their choices. Students will be encouraged to use Unifrog in their Tutor Sessions, and teachers are able to track their progress. Parents and guardians can also access through the parent log-in to help support students.
We are pleased to be a UCA Thrive: Creative Careers Partner.
Our courses are part financed by the European Social Fund.
