This course is designed for ambitious students ready to launch their aviation careers. This programme allows you to complete your training perfectly timed to begin your aviation journey in the summer flying season. For 2 days a week, you’ll wear a cabin crew uniform, helping you look and feel the part as you develop the confidence and professionalism expected in the aviation industry.

Whether your goal is to work as air cabin crew or as part of an airport ground operations team, this course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in a fast-paced, global industry.

As a learner, you’ll undertake training at a local Training Base, where theory meets practice. You’ll take part in a variety of realistic, industry-standard exercises, including, Emergency slide descent, Smoke-filled cabin simulations and Aircraft door operation drills

You must be a minimum of 17 years of age to enrol on this course. You must have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above to start this course.

Your training at HSDC covers every aspect of cabin crew and ground operations, including:

  • Airline health, safety, and security
  • Emergency procedures and aircraft evacuation
  • Crew room duties and teamwork
  • First aid and passenger care
  • Ground handling operations

To prepare you for your next step, you’ll also take part in a mock airline interview day at one of our local partner hotels, designed to help you shine in real airline recruitment processes.

All lessons are delivered in our industry-standard Aviation Suite by experienced professionals who have worked for major airlines such as British Airways and First Choice Airways, their experience also includes working in a first-class service and recruitment roles.

Your progress will be measured through a combination of:

  • Practical observations
  • Assignments
  • Role plays
  • Case studies

This course requires you to purchase a uniform and
kit and we include trips to enhance your learning and experience of industry.

financial assistance will be supported with these costs.

I’m very, very happy, I didn’t expect to do so well. The College has been helpful and supportive. I loved my courses, and the teachers were really good – every single one of them. The facilities are great, but it’s the staff that really make this place.
