We are a fully-licensed fine dining restaurant at South Downs Campus, staffed by our talented Catering & Hospitality students and open to the public. Dining with us is an opportunity to enjoy high-quality, freshly prepared food while also supporting what we do here at the College. Every task is performed under the guidance of qualified and experienced Catering & Hospitality lecturers to ensure a first-class fine dining experience.

However, we would like to inform you that, due to our commitment to sustainability and maintaining the highest standards, we cannot always guarantee that every guest will receive their first choice from the lunch menu. Our approach to cooking involves preparing each dish from scratch for every service, which limits our ability to produce excess food that may go to waste or be sold on another day.
This decision aligns with our dedication to minimizing food wastage and ensuring that every dish served is fresh and of the highest quality. We hope you understand our commitment to sustainability and excellence in culinary education.
We are always available to assist you in making alternative selections from our menu, and we are confident that you will find each option equally delightful.

We continuously use various suppliers and locally sourced products for our dishes and many ingredients used may contain allergens.
As a training kitchen that proudly produces each dish from scratch, it is not possible for us to guarantee that any product is 100% free from any allergen.
Dietary requests and Allergies are to be highlighted at time of booking at least 2 weeks prior to your reservation, this allows us time to find suitable alternatives, we cannot guarantee any dish will be free from allergens as we use all 14 in our kitchens, should you have a severe allergy we recommend you do not dine at the college.
Please note, all vegetarian options on the lunch menus are pre-order only.

- For special events, Afternoon Tea, Christmas, Themed menus and Guest Chef Events we require full payment per person at the time of booking.
- For dinner reservations, we require a £15pp deposit to make the reservation, you will be booked onto the Meat menu, and any vegetarian or dietary requirements must be highlighted at the time of booking.
- For lunch reservations for more than 6 guests, we require a £10pp deposit, deposits are per reservation and can only be accepted in one transaction, paid via BACS transfer to include the reference number given on the booking email.
- All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- We do not guarantee areas or specific table requests, however, we shall endeavour to accommodate requests where possible, larger parties (over 6 guests) will be sat across multiple tables.
- For sole-use bookings, we have a minimum requirement of 40 guests, menus for such parties will be set. A deposit will be agreed at the time of booking, the balance is to be paid on the day in full, one bill will be provided, and guests may purchase drinks individually at the bar. We do not offer invoices or deferred payments.
- All deposits will be redeemed against the final cost of your bill, if fewer guests arrive than the reservation was for then they forfeit their deposit, it will not be redeemed against the remaining guests’ bill, one bill will be provided per table/party, individual bills cannot be provided.
- All payments will be forfeited if the guest cancels the reservation.
- Please note that Evening, special events and afternoon tea bookings will be confirmed once payment has been received. We can hold your enquiry for 3 days, after which it will be automatically released.
- Our menus and produce are subject to availability.
- Menus have been designed for the whole party to enjoy; we cannot adapt any menus.
- All dietary requirements must be identified at the time of booking. Should you have a severe allergy, we recommend that you do not dine at the college.
- Please arrive at the time of your reservation. Closing times for the restaurant are 2pm for lunch and 9 pm for our dinner service, all tables must be vacated by this time.
- Payment confirms you have read and accepted these terms and conditions of booking
