Welcome to T Level Foundation in Health and Nursing! This exciting course will be based in our state of the art simulated hospital ward facility. We are really looking forward to meeting you and working with you over the next three years. In 300-500 words, we would like you to write a statement explaining why you would like to be a nurse. Try to include evidence of your own independent reading and research into the profession in your writing. Please bring this with you to your enrolment interview.
The medical terms you hear today are mostly derived from Latin or Greek. Do some research – find out what these terms mean and give an example; the first one is done for you:

Your shoes must be closed toe and sturdy – think comfort over style! Converse, canvas, or ‘dolly’ style shoes are not allowed for health and safety reasons.

Also included below is a link to buy a ‘fob watch’, a nursing staple. This isn’t a requirement, and some of you might want to buy a more special one to start your nursing career.
