HSDC’s South Downs Campus is set to once again host the District Finals of the Rotary Young Chef of the Year competition.
Last year saw 18 competitors from all over the South (including two from the Channel Islands) taking part.
The competition, run by The Rotary Club, gives young budding chefs the chance to show off their creative flair to industry professionals while developing their skills.
Last year saw HSDC student and Level 1 Craft Caterer Jonny Smith reach the National Finals at Lincoln College where he secured an impressive 2nd place.
Young chefs will be handpicked over the next month to be entered into this year’s competition, and the District Finals will be held at the South Downs Campus on 3 March.
