Fluency in Spanish opens up educational, employment and travel opportunities, especially in Europe, Latin America and the US where Spanish is the most widely spoken language after English. Studying Spanish at A Level will give you the knowledge and the skills to be able to express your opinions spontaneously in both speaking and writing regarding Spanish-speaking society, from popular culture to how technology is shaping our lives. Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 6 in GCSE Spanish is required.

Class activities are wide-ranging, from debates to pair work for discussions, working at your own pace using audio, video, text and internet-based resources in the multimedia language laboratory and via Google Classroom. We also use Virtual Reality (VR) technology to bring the topics closer to you.
