September Start – Havant Campus – Tuesday Evening or Friday Daytime. The course will reinforce topics you already covered in previous studies, and boost your understanding and confidence in areas you may have found more difficult, like algebra or statistics.
You will need a minimum of two GCSEs at grade 3 or above. Specifically a grade 3 will be required in GCSE Mathematics. However a two year GCSE Mathematics course or Functional Skills can be undertaken with a grade 1 or 2. To enrol on this Adult Learning course you must be aged 18 years or over.
The Foundation level is intended for students who have previously gained a grade D in GCSE Mathematics, whilst the Higher is there for those students who wish to improve on their C grade. As part of the course you will cover the following aspects of Mathematics

There are three written examinations taken at the end of the year.
