The Board is seeking a visionary and inspirational qualified financial leader in the form of Deputy Principal – Finance and Facilities to lead the charge on HSDC’s strategic priorities – driving financial sustainability, optimising funding, spearheading our estates strategy, and advancing transformative strategies.
As a Governing Body and a college, we are passionate about students and aim to deliver the very best experience for the community of people who choose to study with us. HSDC is a dynamic Further Education College located in Hampshire, with campuses in Waterlooville (South Downs), Havant and Alton. We are a forward thinking, Ofsted ‘Good’ tertiary provider meeting the needs of almost 7500 full and part-time students and over 1500 employers across Hampshire, through the commitment and passion of c.1000 staff.
At HSDC, with two successful mergers under our belt in the last seven years, we continue to be relentless in our mission to realise the ambitions of our community – raising aspirations, enabling achievement, and fulfilling dreams. We are motivated by our vision to be the leading provider for academic, technical, and professional training across Hampshire.
With a turnover of c.£42 million and a continued ambition to expand our footprint in key areas like Apprenticeships, Higher Education, International markets, and bespoke workforce development, we are determined to expand our reach and market share.
As Deputy Principal for Finance and Facilities, you will join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term success of our institution via robust oversight of finances and funding, innovation across operational efficiencies, and unlocking new income streams to support not only our long-term financial health but deliver on our educational mission.
