Come and see Hedwig and the Angry Inch (15)
Hedwig Robinson, a transgender punk rock girl from East Berlin, tours North America with her band in this adaptation of the award-winning Broadway rock musical. Hedwig, born male as Hansel, tells her life story through a series of concerts, focusing particularly on the gender reassignment surgery planned to allow her to marry her boyfriend and flee to the west.
Plus a special screening of documentary short Priscilla, Queen of the Ring, which features the UK’s only drag queen wrestler, and post-film chat with Priscilla, aka Ollie Burness.
