In this reimagined and repositioned version of The Seagull, we portray in today’s social media-driven world, the characters’ struggles for recognition and the impact of public opinion on their self-worth. The play explores the frustrations of unrequited love and the elusive nature of artistic success, symbolised by the tragic fate of a seagull. Ultimately, the characters’ desires clash, resulting in disappointment and tragedy.
