Please can you identify in a small report the following for each theorist above:

  1. What is the name of the theory?
  2. Identify the key features of this theory
  3. How does this apply to Human Development?
  4. Can you link this to the appropriate Life stage?

Did you know? There are over 100 Health and Social Care roles across the sector, including Doctors, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Disability Support Workers, Carers and the list goes on.

Please can you find one health role and one social role and discuss the responsibilities they have. We look at the roles and responsibilities of many different Healthcare Professionals (HCP) across 2/4 units that you will complete.

Pick a life stage of your choice and briefly explain the PIES (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social Development) that would develop through that life stage.

Research the below life stages on the internet:

  • Birth and infancy 0-2 years
  • Early childhood 3-8 years
  • Adolescence 9-18 years
  • Early adulthood 19-45 years
  • Middle Adulthood 45-65 years
  • Later Adulthood 65+ years

After watching the above video, what is your opinion on this debate?

Growth and development are critical in life stages. During their lifespan, an individual will pass through many different stages and these are marked by physical, physiological and psychological changes.

Can you identify growth and development factors within your chosen life stage from Activity 3?
