Business & Management T Level at South Downs Campus

Welcome to the new T Level in Business and Management! 

If you are studying this course from September, you will be among the first cohort of students ever. We hope you are as excited to start your course as we are. 

Business and Management affects many areas of our everyday lives. Remember: ‘You are either going to work for a business or own one’. We hope that, by the end of next year, you will have a good understanding of how businesses are managed, as well as the context in which they operate. 

This Getting Ahead work will help you get to grips with some of the key concepts involved in this course and the business environment we live in.

In your Business & Management T Level course, we will be using some business-related key terminology. These are some important words you will need to know the meaning of.

An acronym is an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words. Below you will find some business-related acronyms that will be part of your course. 

Research and find out what the below letters stand for.

In class, you will discover the different types of organisations and sectors. While some businesses will be owned by individuals or firms, others will belong to the government. In other cases, some businesses will not aim at earning profits for its owners.

Everyone at the College was really helpful, and there’s lots of facilities, meaning it’s very easy to get your work done on time, and get good grades.
