We offer a superb range of clubs and societies to enable you to make the most out of your time at HSDC, the chance to try something new, develop your interests and hobbies and to make life-long friends in the process. As important as this, you’ll be learning and developing fantastic skills outside of the classroom which will enhance your CV, whether you’re applying to university or going into employment. From subject-specific clubs and societies to Sports, Performing Arts, TV & Film, Music and Table-top Games, there is something for everyone at HSDC.
You will have the opportunity to sign up to Be Involved at Enrolment and at our Freshers Fair.
GREEN CLUB
The future is green, and it belongs to you. As a student today, developing Green Skills – from sustainable problem-solving to eco-conscious thinking – is the ultimate way to future-proof your career. Employers in every single industry are actively hunting for professionals who understand sustainability. At HSDC, we believe we have a shared social responsibility to protect our planet. We are fully committed to driving the green agenda, embedding sustainability into campus life, and ensuring you leave us ready to lead the green workforce equality across the college.
THE LGBTQIA+ CLUB
The LGBTQIA+ Club provides a welcoming, inclusive space where students can connect, build confidence, discuss issues affecting LGBTQIA+ communities, and promote equality across the college. The club is open to all students, including allies, and would encourage respectful discussion, peer support, and community engagement.
Being part of our College community is just as much about acquiring new knowledge and skills as it is meeting like-minded people and enjoying an inspiring and creative social experience. That’s why we run a variety of clubs and societies to help you engage with people, interests and issues you care about. Many curriculum areas run their own clubs and societies for students. Find out more about our clubs and societies at Enrolment and at our Fresher Fair.
