Welcome to the Student Travel & Support information for 2025/2026. Our aim is to provide a travel and financial assistance scheme that offers flexibility of choice, meets our students’ needs and does not put a barrier in the way of a student accessing their education. We work with both First Bus and Stagecoach bus companies to offer student-priced bus passes and to provide as many direct routes to HSDC as possible. We also work with South-Western Railway to provide those students who wish to travel by train a reduced-cost rail pass. Further financial help towards travel and essential college costs may be available if the household is in receipt of an income-based benefit.
