Your bus/train pass can only be used within the dates printed on the ticket and within the areas specified.
The train pass can be used 7 days a week within the named train stations and dates.

If you order a termly bus/train pass, you will need to remember to order a pass each term (click here for College Term Dates for 2019-2020)
All bus passes must be used with your Student ID card and train passes must be used with your photocard. Drivers will confiscate any pass that is being used without the appropriate ID card or being used out of the specified dates and areas on the ticket. Misuse of any pass may result with the student being withdrawn from the Travel Scheme.
If you withdraw from your course and your pass was purchased by the College, the pass will remain the property of the College and will need to be handed into the Student Travel & Support Office.
If your purchase your own pass and you withdraw, you may contact the bus/train company direct to see if you can get a partial refund.
Should you wish to use your bus pass in other areas you may wish to upgrade your bus pass. For example, if you live in Waterlooville you will have a Waterlooville Zone bus pass. You may wish to upgrade your bus pass so you can use it in other areas such as Portsmouth (which can be valuable if you have a part time job elsewhere).
The cost you need to pay for the upgrade will depend on which bus pass you already have. Please speak to one of the Student Travel & Support advisers for assistance with this.
If you want to downgrade your bus pass please speak to a Student Travel & Support Adviser. There will be a small administration fee that will need to be paid before your bus pass can be downgraded. If you ordered your bus pass online, then you will need to speak to an Advisor from either First Group or Stagecoach to see if the pass can be exchanged.
