Former student Amy Standing will have her art shown in the upcoming ‘Power To Us’ exhibition at the Yellow Edge Gallery in Gosport from 13 to 24 January 2021.
This all-female exhibition showcases the works of 13 emerging artists who are diverse in age, race, background and stages of their artist careers. The exhibition looks to champion equality and diversity within the contemporary arts scene.
Amy explains more,
“I completed my A Levels at HSDC Havant in 2019 in Graphic Design, Fine Art and Psychology, leaving with an A* in Fine Art and an A in Graphics. After College I went straight to the University of Chichester, and am pursuing a Fine Art degree and hoping to finish it off with a PGCE.
“I’m now in my second year and this will be my first ever private exhibition which is a massive deal for me! I’m the youngest of the 13 artists, which is why I feel it a particular honour that I was chosen!”
