Former student Anna Marris has been accepted to the Master’s degree programme in Print at the Royal College of Art.

The Royal College of Art, considered the world’s most influential postgraduate art and design school, helps students to push the parameters of their practice and to pursue their dreams.

Formally a pupil of Purbrook Park School, Anna attended HSDC South Downs from 2016 to 2018.

“I completed three A Levels, achieving A* in Fine Art, A* in Textiles Design, and A in Psychology, which subsequently enabled me to gain a place at the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art campus, to study a BA in Fine Art in 2018. I am currently completing my third year, having had an incredible journey developing an artistic practice. In September, I will attend the Royal College of Art to study a Master’s in Print. Living and studying in London will enable me to continue networking with like-minded artists and to collaborate with academics and institutions that explore the bridge between art and science.

“My tutors in all three subjects at HSDC encouraged me to push myself and I developed wide ranging technical, analytical, and writing skills which gave me the perfect foundation to pursue art and academia at degree level.”
