An Alton College Social Sciences Lecturer had the honour of speaking at the 7th Annual Global Forensic Science Conference on 24 March.
Katie-Jane Hobbs, who is a Social Sciences Lecturer and Course Leader at Alton College was given the opportunity to present a piece called ‘Adapting Forensic Teaching for The Virtual World’ in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking of the event, Katie-Jane said:
“This has allowed me the opportunity to develop my knowledge and understanding of my specialist area and to discuss possible strategies for improving our field in the future. I have been given the opportunity to speak at the next conference in July”.
Katie-Jane was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Global Scientific Guild who thanked her for presenting a phenomenal and worthy speaker presentation.
