You will require an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting. However, other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered on a case by case basis and discussed at interview.

On this Accounting course you will cover the following five modules:

  • Advanced bookkeeping
  • Management Accounting (costing)
  • Indirect Taxation
  • Final Accounts
  • Synoptic assessment to include Professional Ethics and Spreadsheets for Accounting

You will be taught in a classroom environment using simulations, e-learning and other teaching materials. Each module will be taught one at a time rather than simultaneously.

You will be assessed by a computer based assessment after each module.

You will need to purchase books at an approximate cost of £100. If you are not already registered you will need to obtain AAT membership, further information can be found at www.aat.org.uk/membership

After completing this qualification you can enter into a number of different accounting professions. You can also progress onto the Level 4 Diploma to further enhance your career potential.

I got into both of the universities I wanted to. It happens so fast and it’s an amazing feeling when you think that all of the work you’ve done has paid off in the best way possible.

Anton Sukhorukov, A Level student

I would say it’s a college that really balances academia with fun, there is lots of extra-curricular stuff that you can get involved in. It has a really good work/life balance.

Laura Hagedorn, A Level student

College is definitely worth all the effort you put in, you get to meet lots of different people and it’s amazing.
