Adult care worker Apprenticeship

To work in care is to make a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible. If you like working with people and feel passionate about supporting and enabling them to live a more independent and fulfilling life, then this is a rewarding and worthwhile Apprenticeship that will provide you with excellent career opportunities.

This qualification allows the Apprentice to gain technical knowledge and real practical and functional skills to include; communication in care, personal development, equality and diversity, health and safety, duty of care, safeguarding, understanding mental wellbeing and dementia and personal care.

Apprenticeships

All Apprenticeships are tailored to each individual, the duration is different for every Apprentice. All Apprentices must be on programme for a minimum of one year and a day, although some can last up to four years.
