This qualification supports and confirms your workplace skills, knowledge and performance and does not involve sitting an examination. You will be taught a variety of IT skills and the course will simulate the workplace.
This course will run for 12 weeks, two days a week.
You will need to have completed ITQ Level 1 or have IT skills at that level. There is a requirement for you to provide evidence or be assessed to demonstrate Level 1 English ability.
On this part time course at HSDC Alton, you will study the following:
Word Processing Software (Microsoft Word)
Spreadsheet Software (Microsoft Excel)
Presentation Software (Microsoft PowerPoint)
Using Email (Microsoft Outlook)
Improving Productivity Using IT
You will be assessed through the completion of an electronic portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and experience.
On completion of this course, you will be ready for the workplace and/or you could progress on to any other Adult Learning course.
