Our ESOL courses are taught by a team of specialist subject lecturers, supported by a dedicated Student Progress Mentor. To enhance your learning experience, we incorporate Rosenshine’s principles of instruction, such as: Daily review: Revisiting previous vocabulary, grammar, and language structures to reinforce understanding. Small steps: Breaking down complex English concepts into smaller, more manageable parts for easier learning. Questioning: Actively engaging students through questions that encourage them to think critically about the English language and its usage. Modelling: Demonstrating clear examples of correct English pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary to guide students’ learning. Guided practice: Providing opportunities for students to practise new language skills under the guidance of the teacher, with feedback and correction as needed.In addition to these instructional strategies, we provide workbooks and handouts for each level of study. You will have the opportunity to practise mock assessments in preparation for your assessments. You will also be assigned homework and expected to complete learning at home in your own time.
