Overview

The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance Processes and Practices course comprises of three units, which are studied individually.

In order to be considered for this course, an informal interview will need to be undertaken with a member of the Adult Learning Team at the Havant Campus.As a prerequisite you will be required to be in a position where you quality assure a minimum of two assessors, each working with two or more candidates (this is required for two of the three units you will study on this course).

On this course you will study the unit: Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Policies and Practices (Unit 402). This unit is for practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organisation, by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors.We also offer the unit: Leading the Internal Quality Assurance Processes and Practices (Unit 403).

At HSDC an experienced and qualified tutor will guide and support you through the complete programme as both your individual tutor and assessor. You will build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate practice, observation of practice and professional discussion. Each unit will comprise of a training session, tutorials, professional discussions, assessments and observations.
