This is a unique course that offers you the opportunity to study a full time programme in Law, Psychology and Criminology. By choosing to study this course you will develop an understanding of why people commit crime, whether nature or nurture influences peoples choices, what happens during a criminal investigation and the processes involved when a person has been arrested and taken to court.
You will have the opportunity to visit law courts and engage with professionals from the criminal justice system. Throughout the course you will also develop skills that are highly valued by employers and universities.
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and Mathematics.
This course can be studied over a one-year period to gain a qualification equivalent to one and half A Levels, or over two years togain a qualification equivalent to three A Levels.

The course will be assessed through a mixture of internally set and assessed assignments and externally set assignments completed in examination conditions.
Successful completion of the course will gain you UCAS points to progress to university. Possible degree routes could include Criminology, Psychology, Law and Sociology. Alternatively, the qualification allows learners to gain the required understanding and skills to be able to consider employment or Apprenticeships within the criminal justice system, for example, the National Probation Service, the Courts and Tribunals Service or the National Offender Management Service.
