You’ll need: A Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music, Media or a similar qualification at Merit level, or an equivalent A Level programme A demonstrable passion and commitment to developing a professional career in music Mature students can apply with a relevant portfolio of work or a successful audition

This dynamic one-year programme is structured to provide a holistic and practical approach to artist development: Unit 1 – Establishing Principles of Technical and Production Practice (Pass only): build a robust foundation in advanced music production techniques, ensuring your technical skills are industry-standard Unit 2 – Applied Professional Practice (Pass only): focus on developing your professional identity, understanding industry workflows and engaging in collaborative projects that simulate real-world scenarios Unit 3 – Professional Development Project (Pass, Merit or Distinction): this culminating unit is your chance to launch a significant artistic project. You’ll develop, produce and market a body of work (e.g., an EP, a professional showreel, a comprehensive artist brand package) to a professional standard, showcasing your readiness for the industry.
