Havant & South Downs College students delivered songs from throughout the decades at a sell-out show at The Wedgewood Rooms in Southsea on Monday 4 December.
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary in Music year 2 students performed a highly accomplished and professional music revue of songs from the 1950s to the present day.
The annual showcase represents the culmination of the students’ focused work over the two year course and demonstrates the enormous wealth of musical talent currently studying at AMP – Art Music Performance at Havant & South Downs College.
‘Styles of the Decades’ saw popular songs across eras were performed across six sets throughout the evening.
Lecturer Dean Clarke said: “It was a highly enjoyable and engaging evening that gave our students a unique opportunity to play one of the country’s most celebrated independent venues.”
