Havant & South Downs College is excited to announce the signing of a three-year extension with Havant & Waterlooville Football Club for our hugely successful Football Academy programme.

This agreement demonstrates the continued commitment and strength of relationship with Havant & Waterlooville FC, providing a great platform for young players to maximise their football potential alongside their chosen academic study programme.

With playing opportunities across five different teams, including the prestigious National League U19 Alliance and FA Youth Cup, the future for young aspiring players who wish to be part of our programme looks fantastic.

Havant & Waterlooville Chairman Derek Pope, Director of Finance Kelvin Smith and Director of Curriculum Ashley Grute were all present at the signing of the extension and are looking forward to developing and further strengthening the partnership in the coming years.

Derek Pope said: “We are celebrating our tenth year working with the College, so this is a great way to look to the future and continue to support young players in their football and education.”

Lee Bradbury, First Team Manager, said: “The football club and College have worked together for a number of years and produced some good young talented players. This agreement helps us look forward and continue to work together, identify young talented lads in the local area.”
