HSDC South Downs students have been celebrating today as, thanks to their hard work and that of our fantastic teachers, nearly 100 of those who took the exam in November passed their GCSE English and GCSE Maths resits. Once again our results are better than other colleges in the country – with students taking their GCSE English resit being twice as successful as students nationally.
Richard Barlow – Deputy Principal and Head of our South Downs campus, was ecstatic with the results: “This is once again an incredible achievement and shows the dedication of our staff and students to getting the results.”
HSDC South Downs has consistent success in supporting students who need to retake their GCSEs in these subjects to achieve an improved grade, and we look forward to even more success for students in the summer.
