From fitness videos to a live Musical Theatre tutorial to a remote book club and debating society, HSDC staff and students have been busy #stayingsafe and taking on the challenge of remote working.
Our three campuses use Google Classroom to ensure consistency for our students, and lively Google Meet discussions encourage broader knowledge and skills development.
Students are connecting with lecturers and peers, fine-tuning skills by posting before and after photos of their work or sharing their amazing #stayathomechallenge. Some students have been challenged to design a Go-Kart project; others are volunteering to work with organisations to help provide meals to those most vulnerable in the community.
We hope that classes will be able to return to campus sometime soon but, in the meantime, we know our students are still being challenged and learning.
