HSDC students are set to benefit through a new progression agreement between HSDC and Solent University Southampton.
Suitably qualified HSDC students will be able to progress to designated Solent University undergraduate degree programmes, and the qualifications they have earned at HSDC will count toward their Bachelor’s degree requirements. For example, HSDC students on the Level 4 UAL Professional Diploma in Music Production who receive a pass will receive direct entry into Year 2 of the BSc (Hons) Popular Music Production degree at Solent University.
This collaboration applies to HSDC’s newly created UAL Start-up Business Academy, where students who receive a pass enter directly into the second year of a number of BSc (Hons) Business Management degrees.
Paul Carter, Assistant Principal Vocational Curriculum, is excited at the possibilities this collaboration has for HSDC students,
“This partnership will give our HE@HSDC students a clear progression route with Solent University Southampton and the top up support for our popular UAL Level 4 Professional Diplomas is really positive for the students.”
