We’re delighted to announce that Havant and Waterlooville FC have agreed a new 3-year partnership with HSDC which will take this longstanding partnership to 15 years. As well as the extended partnership, HSDC has also become the Club’s newest Community Partner, supporting local community projects and ventures.

The partnership enables HSDC’s first team to play in the Conference Youth Alliance, enter the FA Youth Cup and Hampshire Floodlit Cup and, for the first time, their team matches will be played on Wednesdays at the Draper Tools Community Stadium. In addition, the HSDC logo will feature on the Hawks first team’s away shirt in the upcoming season’s National League fixtures. The Club has also donated 250 free season tickets for HSDC students to come along and enjoy the Hawks’ home league matches.

This is a very exciting time for the football club, who have recently launched their own in-house HWFC Pro:Direct Academy, to be able to increase their academy offering to the wider community, with two very different learning pathways that fulfil a much wider spectrum of learning courses. For students who enjoy a campus learning environment, HSDC offers this in abundance along with structured learning, whilst giving students the opportunity to study a course that is equivalent to three A Levels, earns UCAS tariff points and is recognised by universities as meeting the entry requirements for courses such as BA (Hons) in Sports Coaching and Development and BA (Hons) Sports Management.

In an earlier interview, Hawks Manager Paul Doswell said;

“It’s great news for the football club, it’s fantastic to have the opportunity to continue supporting HSDC by bringing our longstanding relationship to 15 years”.

Sam Game, HSDC Academy First Team Coach commented;

“It’s fantastic to celebrate what will become a 15-year partnership. The opportunity for students to play football under the HWFC badge and banner is brilliant, and to couple that with providing a strong education is a really nice combination”.

Havant and Waterlooville FC firmly believe that sports and football should be fully inclusive and accessible for all to enjoy, regardless of ability. Applications are welcome from all those who have a passion for sports and a desire to learn.
