The emerging filmmakers of HSDC South Downs’ UAL Creative Media Production programme are proud to announce Final Cut, an exclusive screening event showcasing a two-year progression of outstanding student produced cinema.
The event is free and will take place on the 18th of June at Eldon Building, Southsea, Portsmouth PO1 2DJ with doors opening at 6:00pm and it will conclude at around 9:00pm

The students also produced a poster for the event.
Entirely student-led, from the master edit to the event management, the festival will feature two 50-minute curated showreels of original short films, documentaries, and music videos. The screening will be split into two parts, allowing attendees to network and discuss the films during a 10-minute interval.
Every student on the UAL course will have some of their work featured, representing the culmination of both one and two years’ worth of rigorous practical training and creative development.
The student organisers said:
“These filmmakers have worked incredibly hard to curate a showreel that highlights the inspiring voices and technical skills of our first- and second-year classes. We can’t wait to share our final masterworks with the local community.”
Members of the press, industry professionals, friends, and family are warmly invited to attend this celebration of local, up and coming talent.
Everybody at HSDC wishes to extend their congratulations to these students for all of their fantastic work, and wishes them luck with the upcoming film festival!
