Students, staff, families and special guests gathered to celebrate dedication, discipline and achievement at HSDC’s annual Uniformed Services Pass Off Parade, held this year for learners from both South Downs Campus and Alton College.

Archie Dinnage received the Yvonne Elliott Endeavour Award.
The event marked the culmination of a year of hard work for students across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses, showcasing their progression through a series of impressive drills, scenario-based exercises and formal parade movements. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, leadership and resilience, the parade reflected the high standards expected of those pursuing careers in the uniformed services.
Throughout the afternoon, students demonstrated a range of skills developed during their studies. From coordinated marching and inspection drills to dynamic practical exercises, each element highlighted the confidence and professionalism students have built over the academic year. The parade provided a fitting opportunity for learners to display the discipline and commitment that underpin the programme.

The parade was an excellent display of discipline and determination.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards, recognising individuals who have excelled both academically and personally.

The Pass Off Parade remains a cornerstone event within HSDC’s Uniformed Services provision, offering a meaningful platform to celebrate student progression while reinforcing the values that define careers in the services. The professionalism demonstrated by students across both campuses reflected the strength of the programmes and the dedication of staff who support them.
As the ceremony concluded, students were congratulated on their achievements and encouraged to continue striving towards their future ambitions. For many, the parade represents the first step on a path toward careers in the Armed Forces, emergency services, or wider public service roles.
HSDC is proud to recognise the achievements of all students involved and looks forward to seeing the continued success of this year’s cohort as they progress to the next stage of their journey.
