Part time courses are a great way to improve your career prospects, learn new skills and meet new people.

Here at HSDC we’re passionate about making learning accessible. That’s why our part time courses are flexible, with weekday, weekend and evening courses available. Helping you fit learning around your work and other commitments.

Our aim is to help our students realise their goals and achieve success with our wide range of part time courses.

We have a range of part time professional development courses at our Havant and South Downs campuses, designed for business professionals who wish to further their career, these include:

We also offer a range of free distance learning courses and are able to create bespoke training programmes for businesses.

English
Our part time English courses range from entry level and Functional Skills courses to GCSE English. 

Mathematics
We offer part time Maths GCSE, functional skills and entry level part time courses.

English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)
We have ESOL courses from Entry Level to Level 2. We also teach ESOL Maths at a number of locations across Hampshire.

Thinking about starting a new career, or just wanting to find a new hobby and meet new people? We have a range of part time evening courses at South Downs Campus that run throughout the year. Examples include:

We provide adult education to help you develop your work-based skills. These courses can help you gain employment, or retain a job within your current place of work. Our part time courses include professional training in leadership and management amongst other areas.

Please note that although requirements may vary from course to course (see the individual course pages for more information), you must be aged 19 or over as of 31/08/23 to be eligible to study any part time course.
