Early Childhood Top-Up BA Hons

This course (delivered in partnership with the University of Chichester) provides progression for those students who wish to top-up their Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification.

Delivered one day a week, you will study a range of modules that enable you to explore key aspects of childhood. This course will help you develop problem-solving, critical analysis and independent thinking skills.

Early Years Foundation Degree

This foundation degree (delivered in partnership with the University of Chichester) provides a broad perspective of working with children through early childhood up to eight years of age.

You will gain a sound understanding of the diverse contexts in which young children develop and learn. This course is delivered one day a week and is aimed at those working in a variety of early years settings. These include children’s centres, pre-schools, nurseries, infant schools, children’s health services (such as speech and language therapy) and in social services early childhood centres.

What financial support is available to me?

Both of our early years Higher Education courses qualify for student loans, so you won’t start to pay for them until the course has finished and you are earning over the suggested threshold. You can apply for your tuition fees student loan via Student Finance England (SFE).

Additionally, an Advanced Learner Loan may be an option for you. Visit our Advanced Learner Loan page for more details.

Alternatively, you can pay upfront or set up instalment payments via our internal Student Finance team. Student finance is available for all of our Higher Education courses. Terms and conditions will be stated on your application.
