Parents/carers may receive two types of absence emails:
Please note: Absence Notification emails are enabled from around the third week of term and are scheduled to be sent at 12:30pm and 4:30pm each day. Due to processing times, you may receive an Absence Notification before a reported absence has been approved. If you have already submitted the absence, no further action is required.
If a lecturer/teacher is absent due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to arrange suitable cover. Where this is not possible, students will be informed of any changes and provided with work to continue their learning. This information will be communicated as soon as possible; however, we cannot guarantee that notification will be received before the student has already started their journey to College. Students are encouraged to use the Learning Hub during any free time created by timetable changes or staff absence.
Lecturer/teacher absence will not negatively affect students’ attendance records.
Students who are considering a change to their course/subject choices should discuss this with their Tutor or Student Progress Mentor in the first instance. They will be able to explore the options available and provide appropriate advice and guidance.

Payments to the College are made via WisePay, our online payment system. Login details are sent by email when your son/daughter enrols.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the WisePay login page. WisePay can also be accessed through the MyHSDC app homepage.
Please note: Students and parents/carers use the same WisePay login details.

Please complete a Change of Details form (available at Reception) and return the completed form to Reception at any campus. To ensure the accuracy and security of College records, the College may contact the student and/or next of kin to verify changes before they are applied.
